We set out to be a market leader in the Beauty Industry. But having toxin free, highly effective product formulations was only the first step. When we started to design our product packaging, we saw first-hand the tremendous resources required to manufacture a product package. From the cutting of trees, transporation resources, milling resources, printing resources, through to the final box, each step in the process uses precious resources, all for a box that is thrown away.
Even 'recycled' post consumer paperboard products originated by using the resources, and then use even more resources to create the recycled material and to print the new box.
We feel that a Beauty brand does not need to hide behind a box to be a true luxury brand. That is why we do not use any cardboard or paperboard product to package our products. Our products are sold in their container only. This by itself significantly reduces waste.
To go one step further, we sourced conatiners that are recyclable and encourage all of our customers to recycle the packaging.
